5th Grade Dues

Dear 5th Grade Parents/Guardians,
The Fifth Grade Committee has put together a Fifth Grade Packet to include important information and deadlines.
The cost of this year’s senior dues for each fifth grade student will be $100 and is due March 15. The Senior Dues is designed to cover expenses for the following items:
- 2021 yearbook personalized with the graduate’s name on the front cover
- Senior t-shirt
- Graduation activities at P.S. 32
Payment will be collected virtually. Please visit our School Store to submit your payment.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Senior t-shirt sizes must be submitted on Google Classroom. The size is due by March 1 and cannot be exchanged for a different size once ordered. Any graduate that does not submit a size will automatically receive an Adult Medium t-shirt.
We would like to add the graduate’s own words in the yearbook. This must be completed by March 1 and submitted on Google Classroom. To accommodate each student and the space provided within the yearbook, please have your child limit their response to one sentence for each of the following reflections:
- My favorite memory from P.S. 32 is...
- If I had one wish it would be...
- What I will miss most...
Yearbook personalization for the cover must be submitted on Google Classroom no later than
March 1.
- Please add graduate’s name you would like imprinted on yearbook (I.e. Danny Smith instead of Daniel Smith). If no name is submitted, the graduate’s legal name will be imprinted on the yearbook.
The 2021 yearbook will only feature the 5th grade Class of 2021. Directions on how to upload photos will be posted on Google Classroom shortly. The PTA will also host a Zoom meeting with Pictavo to help any parent/guardian. This Zoom will take place on Friday January 29 at 9am and then again at 7pm. It is expected to be 30 minutes. The following is a list of things that must be uploaded directly to PICTAVO.com by March 1.
- A baby photo of the graduate which will be used for a baby collage. This picture should be of your child before the age of 1, if possible. The photo should be of your child alone, preferably close up.
- An alumni photo of the graduate with their siblings that have or are currently attending PS 32.
- Photos of memories throughout your time at P.S. 32. Please remember to include pictures of your child with a few friends. Pages are limited and we will be using pictures that have multiple children in them. Please understand that depending on the number of pictures that are received, we may not be able to use every picture that is submitted. Folders on Pictavo have been created by each grade to make this easier. Some examples are: carnival, field day, Halloween Parade, pumpkin patch, in class holiday activities, first day of school, etc.
- Please submit a picture of your graduate holding a white 8 ½ X 11 piece of paper stating what they want to be when they grow up. No need to write “what I want to be” on the piece of paper. Please just put the profession on the piece of paper.
- Yearbook Ad must be created through Pictavo. Payment will be collected for ads through Pictavo once you have completed the ad. Prices are determined based upon the size of the ad.
