Mission Statement

PRINCIPAL'S STATEMENT

We, at P.S. 32, tap into the abilities and talents of our students so that they can reach their highest potential in an atmosphere that promotes learning through:
multi-sensory techniques, hands on experiences, positive reinforcements, acts of kindness/good citizenship, the arts, and a balanced math and literacy approach. We can only accomplish our goals of excellent achievement by fostering growth in each child's physical, emotional, social and intellectual well-being. We take pride in our great tradition of excellence and involvement in our children's success. Our students will reach for the stars and they will have an environment that supports that very process.

  • 25% - Student Performance which measures student results on the Math and English state tests.
  • 15% - School Environment of which 5% is based on the student attendance rate and 10% on parent and teacher surveys.
