Each of you are about to become Pet Store Owner's!!! First we have to get everything in order. When you are finished early I want you to go to this assignment and work on it little by little until it is complete!
⭐ HERE ARE THE TASKS YOU WILL COMPLETE:
First decide on a name for your pet store.
•Task #1: The Animals: Choose which animals you would like to purchase for your pet store and how many of each. Be careful not to go over your budget which you will find at the top of each slide.
•Task #2: Pet Accessories: Look at the needs of your customers and decide which accessories you will need in your store. Then find out how much money each customer has (slides 11-15), and if it is enough to buy what they want. Record your information on slides 9 & 10.
Students measure the different animals with an inch ruler, and use the measurements to set up and plan the layout of their store.
•Task #3: Pet Store Layout: Measure your animals using the ruler provided on slides 19-27. Record your answers on slides 17 & 18. Remember to start at the 0 on the ruler. Then it's time to make the lay out. Watch the video on slide 29 and the example on slide 30 for help. Make your lay out on slide 31.
•Task #4: Pet Shop Owner's Schedule: Create a schedule for feeding and caring for the animals. Remember you MUST spend 2 1/2 hours cleaning and 45 minutes letting the animals exercise. You MUST leave 30 minutes to open and 45 minutes to close. Your guide is on slides 33 & 34. Record your schedule on slides 35 & 36.
•Task #5: Ordering Supplies: You need to order food and supplies for their animals. You MUST make sure they order enough AND answer the challenge question. The number of animals are on slide 40-43. Record your answer on slides 38 & 39.
•Task #6: How's Business?: Examine data about different pets that were adopted and create a bar graph using the data. Answer questions and make business decisions based on the data and bar graph.
