Learning Target: We can use a subject pronoun to take the place of a regular noun.
Success Criteria: We can complete sentences by substituting a subject pronoun for the nouns.
Directions: Complete the following activity pages and view the subject pronoun posters.

Learning Target: We can form new words by adding the correct vowel combinations such as: ea, ow, ee, oo, ou.
Success Criteria: We can make new words with vowel combinations and use picture clues to help.
Directions: Complete the 3 worksheets and upload the photos of your completed work to me.

Success Criteria: We can answer questions by looking back at the story.

Success criteria: I can read sentences and put them in the correct order to make a story, then I can answer comprehension questions.
Directions: Complete the following activity, you will need scissors and glue.

Learning Target: I can make sentences using words I have cut out, and I can follow directions when I complete an activity.
Success criteria: I can write sentences and use correct punctuation.  I can follow directions when completing a picture activity.
Directions: On the first worksheet, cut out all the words then rearrange them to make sentences and write your sentences on the following page. On the second page, follow the directions and cut and paste the pictures on the correct spots.

Success criteria: I can write a story and include details and use proper capitals and punctuation.
Direction: Complete the 2 writing activities by writing a short story in response to the sentence prompts and draw a picture about your story on top box. Review the punctuation posters I included for you.

Learning Target: We can read a short story and practice answering story questions.
Success Criteria: We can answer questions by looking back at the story.
Directions: complete the following activity sheet.

Success criteria: We can put to words together to form a compound word.
Directions: Look at the poster that reviews what a compound word is. Then complete the worksheet and send me a photo of your work.

Success Criteria: We put events in order and we wrote a short narrative on beginning, middle, end.
Directions: Complete the two activity sheets on sequence of events and writing a short beginning, end by describing the pictures.

Directions: complete the word slider activity, cut out and slide the words through the openings.

Complete the following sentence comprehension worksheets. You can type your answers directly into the worksheets.

View the read aloud for the book: "Thanksgiving is for Giving Thanks". Then complete the worksheet on what you're thankful for.

View the video on the short "a" sound, then complete the worksheets on the short "a" and on -ack words, send me a photo of your completed work.

Complete the "ABC" order worksheet and send me your completed work.

Complete the short 'e' and abc order worksheet and send me a photo of your completed work.
Then, for fun look at the video and draw a Halloween bat! Send me you photos when your done.

Listen to the story, "Hey That's My Monster". Then you can draw a picture of your own monster. Write a sentence underneath to describe your monster. You can begin your sentence: My monster is_________
You can write what color it is, does it have spots or stripes?, is it big or small? or anything else to describe it. You can print and use my paper or you can use any other paper you have in your house.

Read story "When Grandpa was a Boy". You can also listen to it read to you by pressing the sound button on the left. Complete the Google Document. First, draw a picture of what the boy learns from Grandpa, then write a sentence underneath.

View video on the -at word family. Complete worksheet and send me a photo.

Listen to the story: "Curious George Learns the Alphabet" you can press the green arrow button on bottom left to hear story. Then complete worksheets on letters: F, G, H and send me a photo.
